ON-ICE TRAINING FACILITY
Port Washington Skating Center is located at 70 Seaview Boulevard in Port Washington. It is just north of I-495 on the north shore of Long Island, approx. 23 miles northeast of New York City.
From I-495/Long Island Expressway: I-495/Long Island Expressway to Willis Ave. (exit 37). Proceed north on Willis (becomes Mineola Ave.) approx. 1 mile to Old Northern Blvd. (Rt-25A). Turn right on Old Northern Blvd. (Rt-25A) and proceed east approx. 0.25 mile to W. Shore Road. (Note: Be sure to turn on Old Northern Blvd., NOT Northern Blvd. which is a couple hundred feet further, because Old Northern connects with W. Shore, while Northern bypasses it). Turn left on W. Shord Rd. and proceed north approx. 0.75 mile to Seaview Blvd. Turn left on Seaview Blvd. and proceed west approx. 0.5 mile to rink on the left.
From Northern State Parkway: Take Northern State to Roslyn Rd. (exit 29). Turn right on Roslyn Rd. and go to the clock. Turn left and go through three lights. After the third light, turn left on Seaview Blvd. and proceed west approx. 0.5 mile to rink on the left.
OFF-ICE TRAINING FACILITY
Port Washington Skills Annex is located 81 Seaview Boulevard in Port Washington. it is located directly across the street from the ice rink. Inside is a full state of the art gym, two rapid shot machines to increase shooting accuracy and speed, two rapid hands machines to improve stickhandling, and a quarter sheet of synthetic ice.
